The Sisterhood You've Been Looking For in Baton Rouge

This isn't another girls' night out. It's where you meet the women who actually show up—for coffee dates, workout sessions, and everything in between. The 5 to 9 Club brings together women in Baton Rouge who are done with surface-level friendships and ready for something real.

Your First Night with the Sisterhood:

This Could Be You on November 6th

This Isn't Just Another Event. It's Your Sisterhood.

You've tried the happy hours where conversations stay shallow and you wake up with a hangover and zero real connections.

You've done the mom groups that only talk about the kids.

You've attempted girls' nights that end too late and leave you feeling unsafe or uncomfortable.

Here's what's different:

The 5 to 9 Club isn't about one night. It's about finding your people—women in Baton Rouge who are craving the same thing you are: real friendships, genuine joy, and a place where you can actually be yourself.

Our events are where it starts—dancing to the music that defined your favorite decades, meeting women who know every word, and leaving with phone numbers of people you actually want to see again.

But here's what happens next:

Coffee dates on Tuesday mornings. Spontaneous workout buddy texts. Last-minute dinner plans. Group chats that make you laugh out loud. Women who show up when you need them.

This is the sisterhood you've been looking for.

And it starts on the dance floor.

What makes us different:

No alcohol required - Real connections, not liquid courage

Home by 10pm - No sacrificing your routine or next-day energy

Women-only space - Safe, judgment-free, exactly as you are

Ongoing community - This doesn't end when the music stops

Here's Exactly How Your Night Unfolds

This isn't just an event timeline. This is what it actually feels like to find your people.

5:00 PM

Walking into a tropical paradise that doesn't feel like anywhere you've been in Baton Rouge. Pink lights, palm trees, and that first moment of thinking, "Wait, I'm actually doing this."

6:00 PM

Dancing to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" with women who know every single word. Remembering why you loved this song. Feeling that weight you didn't even know you were carrying start to lift.

7:00 PM

Taking a break in the beach lounge, laughing with new friends over craft mocktails. Realizing you haven't checked your phone in an hour because you're actually present.

8:00 PM

Back on the dance floor for "Since U Been Gone," feeling completely free. Not sucking in your stomach. Not worrying what anyone thinks. Just authentically, unapologetically you.

9:00 PM

Leaving with phone numbers, Instagram follows, and that post-vacation glow. The kind where you feel lighter, happier, more alive.

Next Morning

Waking up energized—no hangover, just genuine excitement about the women you met. Checking your phone to see group chat messages already planning the next hangout.

This Is What Happens When You Show Up

Hear from women who were exactly where you are now—wondering if this was worth it. Spoiler: it was.

Filmed in the moment—because this is what real joy looks like.

"You would think it's hard to relax in a new environment, but between the women and the amazing dance floor it was AWESOME!!! I had a blast meeting other women and getting to know more about them in our community!"

This Night Is For You If...

You're craving real female friendships but don't know where to meet women who actually get you

You miss dancing without feeling self-conscious or being hit on by men who can't take a hint

You want to feel like yourself again—not just "mom" or "wife" or your job title

You're tired of nights out revolving around alcohol and want to actually remember the conversations

You're new to Baton Rouge (or feel like you are) and want to build your crew

You're a working mom who needs a break that doesn't sacrifice your routine or leave you hungover the next day

You value real connections over surface-level small talk fueled by drinks you didn't even want

You're open to something different and ready to feel alive, joyful, and completely yourself again

If any of these sound like you, you're exactly who we built this for. We can't wait to meet you on November 6th.

Still Have Questions? We've Got You.

What if I don't know anyone? Will it be awkward if I come alone?

Not at all! Most women come solo, and we've designed the entire night around making connections easy and natural. We have structured moments throughout the evening to help you meet people—plus, everyone there is looking to make friends too. You're all in the same boat, which makes it way less awkward than a regular night out.

Pro tip: Join our free Circle community before the event and introduce yourself. You might even find women to meet up with beforehand!

What should I wear?

The theme is Dancing Queen Meets Pastel 80s Miami! Think: bright colors, sequins, neon, Miami vibes, 80s fun. But here's the real answer: wear whatever makes YOU feel amazing. Dressed up, dressed down, costume or casual—you'll fit in. This is a judgment-free zone where you can be exactly yourself.

I'm not a good dancer. Will I feel out of place?

Absolutely not. This isn't a dance competition—it's a space to let loose and have fun. Most women aren't "dancers" either. They're just there to move, laugh, and sing along to songs they love. No one is watching you. No one is judging. You do you.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes! Tickets are $39 each when you buy 2 or more. Bringing a friend makes it even more fun (and less scary if you're nervous). Plus, you'll both meet NEW friends together.

What if I can't make it after I buy a ticket?

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If something comes up and you can't attend, just let us know and we'll refund you. No questions asked. We want you here, but we also understand life happens.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance, or can I buy at the door?

You can buy at the door, BUT: Tickets are $5 more expensive at the door ($49 single, $44 for groups), and we're limited to 350 women. If we sell out, there won't be door tickets. Buy now, save money, and secure your spot.

What does "alcohol-free" actually mean?

It means we don't serve alcohol at our events. Instead, we have delicious craft mocktails, coffee drinks, and other beverages available for purchase. The vibe is still fun, energetic, and social—just without the hangovers, awkward drunk interactions, or pressure to drink.

Will there be food?

Yes! Pura Vida has amazing food and drinks available for purchase throughout the night. Come hungry—you'll want to fuel up for all that dancing.

What ages can attend?

This event is for women 25+. We welcome all women in their late 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond!

This is just the beginning of your sisterhood.

Ready to Find Your Sisterhood?

Let's be honest: you've been lonely for real female friendship longer than you want to admit. You've convinced yourself you're too busy, too old, too awkward to make new friends. But you're here. You read this whole page. That means part of you is ready. Listen to that part. She knows what you need. See you on the dance floor, sister.
